Astir Odysseus donates rescue equipment to the Fire Department of Kos
As part of the implementation of its corporate social responsibility, Astir Odysseus made an important equipment donation to the local Fire Department of Kos. The rescue equipment consists of two state of the art tools used for extricating injured people from car accidents or other similar cases: A powerful cutter, which cuts even hard metals, and a dilator that expands metals, making way for the rescuers to remove a person trapped in a car (or any other situation).
The head of the local Fire Department of Kos expressed his gratitude towards the hotel management and the owner of Astir Odysseus, for their quick response to their request for a donation, and added that this donation is for the well-being of the people of Kos, as well as the visitors of the island.
